Surgical Co-Management

Clear guidance and consistent follow-up before and after LASIK, cataract, or ICL surgery.

We Work With Local Ophthalmologists

If you’re considering LASIK, cataract surgery, or ICL, you’ll work with both a surgeon and an optometrist. We handle the parts of your eye care that benefit from consistency, including pre-operative evaluation, referral coordination, and post-operative monitoring.

You won’t be passed from provider to provider. You’ll stay with someone who knows your history and tracks your progress at every stage.

Eye Surgeries We Co-Manage at Eyes of the Marina Optometry

We coordinate care for patients undergoing:

  • LASIK or PRK
  • Refractive lens exchange (RLE)
  • Cataract surgery with or without premium IOLs
  • Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICL) for high myopia

Refractive Surgery  We Handle In-Office

Before surgery:

  • Comprehensive evaluation and candidacy screening
  • Ocular surface evaluation (especially for dry eye or contact lens wearers)
  • Referrals to trusted local surgeons
  • Patient education and surgical expectations

After surgery:

  • Follow-up exams at 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month (as recommended)
  • Healing assessment and visual tracking
  • Coordination with your surgeon on any adjustments
  • Ongoing care, including updated prescriptions if needed

All co-management is handled on-site by doctors who follow your case directly.
