Contact Lens Exams in Marina Del Rey

Fittings that prioritize comfort, clarity, and long-term success, not just your prescription.

A Patient-Focused Approach to Contact Lenses

Wearing contact lenses comfortably takes more than just a prescription. Contact lens exams include a full evaluation of your corneal shape, tear quality, and how your eyes respond to lenses, so we can recommend a design that fits your vision and your daily routine.

Whether you’re trying contacts for the first time or returning after a break, we take the time to walk through your options, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident managing your lenses on your own.

Contact Lenses We Fit at Eyes of the Marina Optometry

We offer soft contact lenses for a range of needs, including:

  • Daily and monthly wear
  • Single-vision, toric (for astigmatism), and multifocal prescriptions
  • Soft lenses for myopia control in children and teens

Most soft lens fittings can be completed in one visit. For new wearers or patients switching lens types, we may schedule a follow-up to check comfort and vision.

Support for Complex or Hard-to-Fit Cases

Some patients are told their prescriptions are too high or their eyes aren’t suited for contact lenses. We routinely fit:

  • Patients with keratoconus or irregular corneas
  • Those with high prescriptions or dry eye
  • Individuals needing custom multifocals or astigmatism corrections

We work with specialty lenses like sclerals, RGPs, hybrids, EDoF multifocals, and ortho-k. These fittings include detailed measurements and follow-up, and are handled fully in the office here in Marina Del Rey.
